Park Place Hope VI

Mixed Income Development


Doster Construction Company and Integral Building Group of Atlanta formed a joint venture to serve as the general contractor for of the Park Place, a Hope VI development.

Phase I of the overall project will consist of 197 apartment units in 17 buildings, as well as a leasing office. The total square footage of Phase I is in excess of 267,000 square feet. Phase II includes 198 apartment units in 16 buildings.

This project covers a 12-block area where the now demolished Metropolitan Gardens low-income housing once stood. Park Place features a unique mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes, including lofts, garden apartments, flats, and town homes all located within a short walk of downtown Birmingham.
