June 2004–Aisin Electronics again selected Doster Construction Co.
Inc., as a joint venture with Zeller Construction to construct their
manufacturing facility on the site of the Aisin manufacturing facility.
The 57,600 square foot facility is budgeted at $4.5 million and scheduled for
completion December 2004.
December 2003-Aisin USA Manufacturing again selected Doster
Construction Co. Inc., as a joint venture with Zeller Construction to
double the size of their automotive facility & office space. The contract
value was established at $ 9,750,000. The 165,000 square foot project included
22,000 square feet of office space and was completed in July 2004.
September 2003-Aisin Light Metals LLC selected Doster
Construction Co. Inc., as a joint venture with Zeller Construction to
construct their new extrusion facility on the same site.
The fast track, design build, 130,000 square foot aluminum extrusion facility
was completed on schedule and turned over to the owner for production
runs in April 2004.
July 2002-Aisin USA Manufacturing selected Doster
Construction Co. Inc., as a joint venture with Zeller Construction to
construct their new automotive facility. The new 165,000 square foot
facility included 19,000 square feet of office space, with the remainder
as the manufacturing area. The company manufactures sunroof, door and
component parts for the automotive industry. The structure is a steel
frame with exterior metal insulated panels and single ply roofing. The
contract value was $11.6 million. To reduce the project cost, Doster
Construction Co., Inc. suggested value engineering alternatives that
reduced the project cost by $900,000. Upon completion of the project,
Doster Construction was able to return an additional $300,000 in cost
savings to the owner, making the total cost savings $1.2 million.
