After interviewing several contractors, Oris selected
Doster as their contractor to build their first manufacturing plant in
the United States. According to Oris, Doster was selected because of the
"extensive experience Doster has in the construction of facilities for
the automotive industry." The new plant will manufacture stamped parts
for the Mercedes-Benz vehicle produced at the assembly plant in Vance,
Alabama. The master plan for the 20-acre site ultimately includes four
phases over a period of five years. Phase I is the 125,000 square foot
manufacturing facility.
