Gestamp Automocion (formerly Oxford Automotive) selected
Doster Construction Company as their design/build contractor to
construct their new stamping and distribution facility in the greater
Birmingham area. Gestamp Automocion, a Tier I supplier, uses the
facility to produce body panels for the Mercedes vehicle assembled in
Vance, Alabama. The 450,000 square foot facility is located in the
Jefferson Metropolitan Park. The project was completed in a 12-month
period.
