Doster Construction Company is proud to have been awarded the contract for con­struction of the multi-phased expansion to Winter Haven Hospital. Winter Haven Hospital, with 527 licensed beds combined in its main building and its Regency Medical Center campus, is located approximately halfway between Tampa and Orlando. Winter Haven Hospital awarded Doster Construction Company Precon­struction, Construction and Construction Management services for three phases.

Phase One consisted of a new 300-car parking garage and a new patient entrance for the south side of the existing hospital. Phase Two included the replacement of the exist­ing eight-story patient tower’s west façade and windows, along with upgrading and expanding the Central Energy Plant. Phase Three adds a new three-level, 60,000 square foot expansion to the hospital for operating rooms, updated technology, and outpa­tient services. Construction of Phase One was completed in November 2006, Phase Two completed in December 2007, and Phase Three in September 2008.
