Doster
Construction Company was chosen to serve as Construction Manager for
this important project in downtown Montgomery. The former St.
Margaret’s Hospital was to be converted into the new State Criminal
Justice Headquarters. The 400,000 square foot building houses the
Alabama Bureau of Investigation, The Highway Patrol, State Corrections,
and The Department of Pardons and Paroles. A new Central Energy plant
was added. In addition, a high level security system was installed
throughout the building.
