Doster was awarded the first phase of a new $12 million
High Tech Center - an Orange County Public School project for Avalon
Park. The building will consist of a 66,000 square foot, two story
tilt-up wall structure. Large rectangle and oval windows in precast
panels will be used throughout the building. In addition, a two-story
oval shaped portico will cover the front courtyard along with masonry
construction on the curved front entrance to the building. Also included
is a chiller plant and an extensive sitework\civil package valued in
excess of $2 million.
High-end finishes will be used throughout the interior of
the building. The first floor consists of classrooms, science and
chemistry labs and media center with the second floor having healthcare
and medical sciences center including patient rooms, nurses stations,
pharmacy, and computer science labs.
