Doster was selected to construct a three-story freshman
center for Hoover High School. The 50-acre site includes a 180,000
square foot building with a media center, two gymnasiums, three computer
labs, a choral room and band room, a complete physical plant, as well as
75 additional classrooms with administration and support areas.
Infrastructure improvements include the construction of a quarter-mile
parkway entrance, a 12-inch water main extension, and a sewer line
extension to provide necessary services. The site improvements include
the building, bus and car unloading areas with canopies, 425 parking
spaces, a football field, a softball diamond, six hard-surface tennis
courts, and a soccer/multipurpose field.
