Doster Construction Company has been working with Compass Bank since 1988 when they were selected to construct the company's $20 million, 325,000 square foot corporate headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama. The three-story concrete frame building houses the bank's item and data processing, as well as administrative services for its entire regional system. Because of the outstanding relationship developed between Doster and Compass Bank, Doster has built over twenty branch locations for the Bank throughout Alabama and the panhandle of Florida to date. In 2000, Doster renovated an existing grocery store into Compass' new $5.3 million administrative center which houses telephone, small business and mortgage banking functions for the Bank. Doster has renovated numerous projects for Compass including multiple floors for the bank in the Daniel Building in Birmingham to provide the Bank with additional administrative space. Doster is currently building two branch locations for Compass that are scheduled to complete early 2009.
