GTECH Printing Press Manufacturing Plant

Doster Construction Company was chosen to renovate and build a manufacturing facility for GTECH printing press, located in Lakeland, Florida. Selected from a list of regional and national contractors, as construction manager Doster provided formal preconstruction services that included budget development and estimating; scheduling; a management plan; and a guaranteed maximum price proposal.
Doster performed exterior modifications and additions to an existing shell warehouse, construction of a chiller plant, structural modifications and complete build-out of the 100,000 square foot office and manufacturing space. Heavy mechanical systems and electrical components were required, as the facility houses precision manufacturing and printing equipment. Included in the equipment is a 300 foot state-of-the-art printing press, which is the largest and fastest press of its kind ever built worldwide.
This project utilized a fast-track construction approach.
