Doster constructed the $19.7 million auto parts and distribution center for the Diamler Chrysler Corporation in Orlando. A flagship facility for the company, the distribution center was a design/build fast track project that featured concrete tilt-up construction. It included a 425,000 square foot warehouse and 50,000 square feet of office space with high end finishes. After four months of design, the project was built in less than twelve months, one month ahead of schedule finishing in 2002 even with the owner’s extensive last minute changes.

Doster assisted the owner in site selection by surveying four potential sites and evaluating cost associated with building at each location. Doster became very involved in the early stages of the project and worked through the design stages to assist the Owner and design team in the analysis and selection of materials and methods of construction.

The project won three awards in 2001, a national and local Associated Builders and Contractors Excellence in Construction award and an Associated General Contractors Build Central Florida award.
