Rainsville Technology Inc. Manufacturing Facility – Phase I&II

Ohio based Greenville Technology Inc. selected Doster to design/build their new manufacturing facility, Rainsville Technology Inc., located in Rainsville, Alabama. GTI's parent company is the Japanese-based Moriroku. The plastic injection molding manufacturing company supplies parts for the Honda automobile. The 88,500 square foot building, located on a 50-acre site, has a conventional structural steel frame with an exterior skin of insulated panels. Manufacturing space features a high bay for overhead cranes. The facility's heavy electrical and mechanical systems include process piping.
After completion of the project, the Owner asked Doster to construct an 110,000 square foot expansion to the facility.
This project is the recipient of an Associated Builders and Contractors Alabama Merit Award, and an Associate General Contractors Build Alabama Award.
