G E N E R A L C O N T R A C T I N G
Using the design - bid - build
approach, a traditional method of contracting, allows Doster and the
client the contract options of a lump sum price, cost plus fee basis, or
cost plus fee with a guaranteed maximum price. Active participation in
the bid market and our knowledge of industry conditions allows us to be
extremely competitive as a general contractor. Our strong subcontractor
- vendor relationships provide high quality at a cost competitive value.
D E S I G N - B U I L D
As design - builders, we provide a single -
source delivery system for design and construction services. We select
and manage the design team best suited for a project's specific needs.
Doster then provides maximum accountability for the total project to the
owner. Our comprehensive services during the preconstruction and
construction phases assure the project's timely, on-budget completion.
C O N S T R U C T I O N M A N A G E M E N T
Construction management
treats the project's planning, design, and construction phases as
integrated tasks within a construction system. These tasks are assigned
to a construction team consisting of the owner, the construction manager
and architect - engineer. Members of the construction team work together
from project inception to project completion with the common objective
of best serving the owner's interests. Doster provides construction
management services as an agent for the owner or on an at risk basis.
