Laredo Medical Center celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its new Buena Vista ER on June 25, marking an important milestone in expanding access to emergency care in southeast Laredo, Texas.

Located on Cuatro Vientos Road, the freestanding emergency room will begin serving patients on July 1 and expands emergency services in one of the region’s fastest-growing areas. The new facility strengthens Laredo Medical Center’s emergency care network, providing convenient, 24/7 access for residents throughout southeast Laredo and surrounding communities, including Rio Bravo, El Cenizo, Zapata, and Hebbronville.

Community members, local leaders, first responders, and healthcare partners gathered to celebrate the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours of the new facility, recognizing an investment that will enhance healthcare access for the region for years to come.

The completion of the Buena Vista ER represents another successful partnership with Community Health Systems and reflects a shared commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare facilities that serve growing communities.
