Doster Construction Company recently completed construction on the new Graduate Nashville hotel with AJ Capital Partners. The 12-story, 205-room hotel, designed by Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture, is located on West End Avenue across from Vanderbilt University. The property includes a restaurant and bar, a lobby coffee shop, 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and a rooftop pool and bar with views of Midtown and downtown, among other unique amenities.

Doster’s ability to maintain the integrity of the design resulted in an outstanding finished product that everyone can plainly see,” said the project architect Tom Pope of Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture.

Graduate Nashville features three food and beverage concepts, opened in partnership with hospitality team Marc Rose and Med Abrous, and include Poindexter, Graduate Hotels’ signature all-day café concept; Cross-Eyed Critters Watering Hole, a ground-level animatronic karaoke bar; and Miss Bessie’s, a rooftop bar and restaurant with scenic city views.

“We are proud to bring this distinctive hotel to the Nashville hospitality market,” said Gregg Lynch, Doster Vice President and Nashville Division Manager.

The hotel broke ground in May 2018, first opened to guests in December 2019, and closed in March due to COVID-19. Graduate Nashville re-opened on July 1, 2020.
