Get to know Doster’s Summer 2021 interns!

GRACE CARR
This summer, Grace has joined Doster as an intern for HR and Marketing. She graduated from Mountain Brook High School and now attends Auburn University as a rising sophomore. Grace is pursuing a major in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Finance. After graduating, she wants to live in Manhattan and work as an investment banker. She has enjoyed her time at Doster, specifically being able to work with all different sectors of the company. Outside of work and school, she likes cooking, working out on the Peloton, and traveling with friends.
Peter Dazzio
Peter graduated from Vestavia Hills High School and is currently an intern for our Birmingham office. He attends Auburn University where he majors in Building Science and minors in Business and Leadership. Peter has enjoyed his time at Doster, specifically working in the field. He hopes to work in construction project management following college. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, grilling out with friends, and going to the lake.
Nick Freed
Nick has worked at Doster’s Nashville office for two years and will be working in Nashville again this summer. He grew up in Upstate NY, and has lived in Murfreesboro, TN for three years. In his free time, he likes to train for Powerlifting competitions, teach and train firearms marksmanship and safety, and read. Currently a rising senior at Middle Tennessee State University, Nick is majoring in Commercial Construction Management and hopes to continue down the BIM path after college. This summer, he wants to continue to get involved in additional opportunities in BIM, both in the office and in the field.
Halee Hudson
Halee is working in our Birmingham office this summer in the Multifamily division. She attends the University of Alabama where she majors in Civil Engineering, minors in Construction Engineering and Social Innovation and Leadership, and is working towards receiving an MBA with a concentration in Operations Management. She twirls as a Crimsonette with the Million Dollar Band and enjoys sports, being outdoors, and playing the piano. Her goal is to work in a position that allows her to combine business skills with her technical knowledge. While at Doster, she has enjoyed working in each of the various portions of the company and developing relationships with everyone.
Ramonda Robinson
Ramonda graduated high school in Knoxville, TN and now attends Middle Tennessee State University where he is pursuing a degree in Concrete Industry Management. He is currently working out of the Nashville Office, and in his free time likes to be outside, play sports, and learn new things. During his time at Doster, Ramonda hopes to learn the basics and get a good understanding of the process of pre-construction and the process/experience during the building phase of construction. Following his college studies, he wants to work on either custom residential homes or multifamily projects as a project manager or superintendent.
Colby Sims
Colby is working in our Special Project Division at Children’s of Alabama. He is currently a student at University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he is studying civil engineering and plans to either pursue a career in construction project management or civil engineering. He has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Doster and hopes to continue to better understand the field of construction and the role the general contractor has in construction projects. Outside of work and school, Colby likes to kayak, hunt, and spend time with family and friends.
Hunter Stewart
Hunter is currently working as a field intern in Huntsville, AL on the Eclipse at City Centre project. Hunter is from Trussville, AL and attends Auburn University where he studies Building Science and Business. Hunter came to Doster this summer interested in learning the basic methods and terminology used in the field. Hunter is excited about the opportunities Doster has provided him with and hopes to remain at Doster after college. In his free time, he likes to watch sports and cook-out with friends and family.
Zoee Wilson
Zoee is spending this summer not far from her hometown, Murfreesboro, TN, working alongside the Doster team in Nashville. She attends Middle Tennessee State University where she is studying Commercial Construction Management. After college, Zoee wants to continue working in construction in operations and grow into a project manager position. Zoee has worked with Doster for the past 2 years and is excited to continue learning about the construction industry. In addition to work, Zoee enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, fishing, and riding and roping on her horse.
