Doster Construction Company joined county, city, and school officials, along with parents and students, on Friday morning to celebrate the completion of the new Moody High School campus with an official ribbon cutting ceremony.
The event featured live entertainment, food trucks, and guided tours of the new facility, offering attendees an opportunity to experience the campus firsthand.
Constructed for the St. Clair County Board of Education, the new Moody High School is designed to support continued growth in the community, accommodating approximately 850 students and expanding capacity beyond the previous enrollment of nearly 700 students. The campus provides modern learning environments and updated spaces that enhance both academic and extracurricular experiences.
Located adjacent to the former Moody High School, the new facility allows the existing building to transition into a junior high school—supporting the long-term needs of the Moody school system.
The project was delivered in partnership with Ward Scott Morris Architecture and Scout Program Management, whose collaborative approach helped bring the vision for the new campus to life.
With extensive experience delivering K-12 and higher education facilities across the Southeast, Doster Construction continues to partner with school systems to create environments that support student success and long-term community growth.
