Top of Alabama Regional Council of Governments

A new chapter is underway for the Top of Alabama Regional Council of Governments (TARCOG).

Doster completed TARCOG’s new 25,000-square-foot headquarters in Huntsville’s MidCity district—delivering a permanent home for an organization that has served North Alabama communities for nearly six decades. The two-story facility was designed to support TARCOG’s growing team and expand its ability to serve residents across DeKalb, Jackson, Limestone, Madison, and Marshall counties.

TARCOG plays a vital role in connecting seniors, individuals with disabilities, and their families to essential resources. Each year, the organization responds to more than 4,000 calls from residents seeking assistance with food, medical supplies, prescriptions, and caregiver support. Through its nutrition program alone, more than 4,100 seniors received nearly 400,000 meals in 2025—demonstrating the scale and impact of its services across the region.
