Project Description
Doster completes new high school, years in the making for this Alabama community.
Doster completed Benjamin Russell High School, delivering a new 215,000-square-foot campus for the Alexander City Board of Education in Alexander City, Alabama.
Located near the corner of Highway 280 and Highway 63, the new facility includes two gymnasiums, kitchen and cafeteria, media center, administration areas, auditorium, a two-story classroom wing, storm shelter, new track and field facilities, paving, and comprehensive site improvements. The campus was thoughtfully designed to support modern academics, athletics, and community use while providing long-term durability and flexibility for future growth.
“This new high school has been years in the making, and Doster is proud to partner with Alexander City Schools, Lathan Architects, and Scout Program Management to bring this project to life,” said Doster Operations Manager, Jim Davis.
